Any extra bags of garbage MUST be tagged with a YELLOW EXTRA BAG TAG. Tags can be purchased at Fareway, HyVee and Dump It/Reding’s Gravel and Excavating (2001 E. Oak Street) in Algona and Car-Go Express, Bancroft City Hall and Hager Foods in Bancroft.

Our customers’ and staff’s safety is our #1 priority. We are occasionally forced to delay routes due to the weather (snow/ice/etc). We will make every effort to make announcements ASAP on the following outlets.

FOR SMOOTH GARBAGE AND RECYCLING PICK UP

Please have your garbage and recycling curbside by 7:00am. There are some days, especially holidays, when routes may run differently.

Special pick ups can be arranged for large items, including TVs, appliances, furniture and e-waste. Please call our office for prices or to schedule a pickup.

On holidays, please have your garbage and recycling curbside on your normal pick-up day unless your normal pick-up day falls on the holiday. If your normal pick-up day falls on the observed holiday, please have your garbage and recycling curbside on the day listed below.
